ANSWERS TO ALL YOUR QUESTIONS
Frequently Asked Questions
When rabbits in our nestboxes are around 5 - 6 weeks old, we will evaluate the rabbits and make available those to be sold within their nestbox page. If you see a rabbit you are interested in, or if you have any questions, please contact us.
Rabbits will be reserved on a first come, first served basis. We do not maintain a notification or priority list.
The cost of each rabbit will vary, depending upon type, color, etc.
Reserving a Rabbit
When rabbits in the nestboxes are approximately 5 - 6 weeks old, they will be available for reservation.
When a rabbit is chosen, a 50% non-refundable deposit of the sales price will be required to hold the reservation. The deposit goes towards the total cost of the rabbit. We will accept cash, debit/credit card, cashier's check, money order, or Paypal for the deposit. Personal checks are not accepted. If the deposit is not received within three business days of the reservation request, the rabbit may be reserved by someone else. All remaining amounts will need to be paid at time of pickup or delivery.
We reserve the right to cancel any sale at any time. If you have already paid a deposit, and we initiate the cancellation, the deposit will be refunded in its entirety. In addition, refunds will be given should something unforeseen happen to your rabbit while it is still at our rabbitry.
We understand that circumstances can change. If something changes and a reserved rabbit needs to wait for pickup or delivery, the rabbit's deposit can be transferred towards another rabbit in a subsequent litter.
If you decide you do not want a rabbit after you have made the deposit, you will lose your deposit.
Taking a Rabbit Home
Most rabbits will be ready to go home with you at 8 weeks old.
All rabbits come with enough hay and pellets to help them transition to the type of feed they will use in their new homes.
A sturdy box or some type of commercial carrier is required to take your rabbit home.
We can hold your rabbit up to one week past the 8 week mark. After that, we will charge $10.00 per week for feed and housing.
We will drive up to 30 minutes from our address to deliver your rabbit, or meet you for a fee. If your rabbit is not picked up on the agreed upon date, and you fail to reschedule pick-up, we have the right to cancel the transaction. If this happens, you will lose your deposit, and the rabbit may be sold to someone else.
Please be considerate and pick up your rabbit at an agreed upon time.
After Getting Home
If, within the first six months, you determine that you are unable to keep the rabbit(s) you purchased, I will take the rabbit(s) back and rehome them for you. This helps peace of mind that the rabbit is in a safe, loving environment. No refunds are issued, however the rehoming fee is waived.
Do we maintain a Notification or Priority List?
No, we do not.
